    History of Ancient Westbury and Present Watertown From its Settlement.

    This 114 page, 5 1/4 x 8 1/4, book covers from the earliest settlement to 1907.  It was originally published in 1907 and reprinted in 2002 by the Brohan Press, 89 Roseland Ave., Waterbury, Ct 16710.  Their website is: http://members.aol.com/brohanpress/  The book is available at The Connecticut Store and can be obtained by mail order  http://www.theconnecticutstore.com/  as of August, 2002.

    It was also reprinted in 1997 by The Higginson Book Company, 148 Washington Street, Post Office Box 778, Salem, MA 01970.  It is their publication CT0411 and is available on their website at http://www.higginsonbooks.com/.  This reprint is on 8 1/2 x 11 size paper but the text is the same size as the original, 5 1/4 x 8 1/4.

    Images of America WATERTOWN

    This 128 page book is filled with photos of early Watertown and Oakville.  It was written by the town Historian, Florence T. Crowell.  It was published in 2002 by Arcadia publishing.  The book is available from the Watertown Historical Society.  It is also available at The Connecticut Store and can be obtained by mail order  http://www.theconnecticutstore.com/  as of August, 2002.

    WATERTOWN Then and Now

        Written by Marian Klamkin in 1976 for the US Bicentennial, this 139 page hardcover book covers the town's history.  It was published by the Bacon Printing Co., Derby, CT and is out of print but the Watertown Historical Society has copies for sale.

    The Old Burying Ground of Ancient Westbury and Present Watertown

          This book was published by the Sarah Whitman Trumbull Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in 1938.  It has been reprinted by Higginson Book Company, 148 Washington Street, Post Office Box 778, Salem, MA 01970.  It is their publication number CT0412, and is available on their website at http://www.higginsonbooks.com/   More information on the contents can be found here:  Old Burying Ground.
