The below map is taken from Town and City Atlas, State of Connecticut, D.H. Hurd & Co., Boston, Mass, 1893

        Note that this was 2 years before the present Town Hall was built.  Also, some street names have changed, present North St. was School St., Main St. was Old Straits Turnpike, Echo Lake Road was Heminway St., and Woodbury Road was Maiden Lane.
